Wawasan Open University is Malaysia's first charity-backed private, not-for-profit university dedicated to adult learners. Currently, it offers undergraduate degree programmes through the open distance learning mode. Based in Penang, it strategically utilises information technology, a network of regional offices, learning centres and a team of well-trained tutors to support students throughout the nation.

DIRECTOR
(Kota Kinabalu, Kuching)

Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate all activities including marketing whilst providing leadership to a team of support staff at the Regional Centers.
• Represent the University at all meetings with local Government Agencies.
• Coordinate and schedule the tutorial classes, registration of courses and arrangement for all examinations.
• Manage the distribution of learning materials. Assist HQ in planning and implementing all learning activities. Manage and help maintain the digital library and the IT services.
• Requirements:
• Degree in any field with at least 10 years experience in senior management level.
• Experience in an education environment will be an added advantage.
• Result-oriented and able to handle multi tasks.

MARKETING & ADMISSION EXECUTIVES/OFFICERS
(Penang, Kuala Lumpur, Johor, Kota Bahru, Kota Kinabalu, Kuching- Regional Office)

Responsibilities:

• Support and maintain admission, examination and students records.
• Responsible for all aspects relating to the marketing of the University and its programs.
• Develop marketing plans, potential student database, handle all enquiries.
• Assist in counseling and provide guidance on enquiries on advance standing etc.

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma or the equivalent in Business Studies, Mass Communications with minimum 2 years of experience.
• Support and maintain admission, examination and students records.
• Responsible for all aspects relating to the marketing of the University and its programs.
• Develop marketing plans, potential student database, handle all enquiries.
• Assist in counseling and provide guidance on enquiries on advance standing etc.
• Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
